Breaking:  Waec released the WASSCE (GCE) Second series 2018 Results

Candidate who sat for the last concluded WASSCE can now access their results from the waec result portal. 


Below are  the processes  to access your result online. 

  1. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)
  2. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2002
  3. Select the Type of ExaminationEnter (private candidate)
  4. Enter the Card Serial Number found on your photo card or reverse side of your Scratch card if using scratch card.
  5. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your photo card or Scratch card
  6. Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up.


NOTE: Registration for first series 2019 is still on going.

A cat was photographed sitting on a bench with a book opened in between its paws in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. While students went to Awo cafe to read, the cat joined them, took up space on an empty bench and began looking through a book to the amusement of other studying students. The photos were shared on an OAU Facebook group with the caption: "Even in OAU animals do read, imagine a cat reading in Awo cafe."
