Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu resurfaces

The leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has been spotted in Jerusalem.Kanu was spotted in Jerusalem on Friday praying.


In a video which surfaced online, the IPOB leader could be seen donning an Israeli outfit used for prayers while holding a book.Kanu was last seen in Nigeria on September 10, 2017 after some military men invaded his residence in Afaraukwu community in Abia State.



Confirming the video and pictures, a source closed to IPOB spokesperson, Emma Powerful but chose to be anonymous told us, “The video is true, Emma Powerful confirmed it to me.”

President Muhammadu Buhari has called on journalists across the world to ensure that they continue to uphold the ethics of their profession and practice good journalism. This, he said, is because good journalism is critical to the development and growth of societies and is needed to combat the challenges posed by fake news. The President made the call at the 2018 World Congress of the International Press Institute (IPI), which had the theme ‘Why Good Journalism Matters’ in Abuja, the nation’s capital on Thursday. JAMB Official Announced the Registration Date For 2019 UTME Form.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced that the sales of JAMB registration form for 2019 UTME will commence on January 10th, 2019. The announcement was made by JAMB's Registrar Professor Oloyede during a meeting with owners of JAMB Computer Based Test Centres at the University of Lagos. According to professor Oloyede, the sales of form will start January 10th and last for 6 weeks. Followed by the examination in March. He further disclosed that the board will not allow Cyber Cafe operators to register candidates because they are extorting candidates and overcharging them and also engaging in services that they do not have the capacity to do. The professor urged all prospective candidates to do their registration and access the board’s major services in any of its 718 accredited centres in the country. Buhari signs N9. 12 trillion Budget, Accuses national assembly of inserting N578bn projects

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday signed the N9.12 trillion 2018 Appropriation Bill into law, and lamented that it would be difficult to implement because the budget figures have been tampered with by the National Assembly. The President accused the National Assembly of cutting N347 billion from 4,700 critical projects and injecting 403 unnecessary projects at the cost of N578 billion, stressing that the proposals introduced by the lawmakers were neither properly conceptualized, designed nor costed. President Buhari noted that the projects were supposed to be carried out by states and local government areas.
